The Abomination Of A Wasted Life
Matthew 24:14-31
Knowing these prophecies of Jesus, should cause us to be ever vigilant to tell of the wonderful, marvelous grace and love of our God and Savior. One Abomination of Desolation would be that of a wasted Christian life; where we have failed to warn our loved ones and all we can of the coming judgment of God upon a world full of evil.
1. WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN A GREAT AND AWESOME RESPONSIBILITY (vv. 14-15).
2. THE IMPORTANCE OF A PROPER REACTION TO THE TIMES (vv. 16-18).
3. WE WILL ALL FACE OUR SAVIOR AND FACE HIS RECKONING FOR OUR LIVES (vv. 19-27).
4. THERE WILL BE A RECOMPENSE AND REWARD (vv. 28-31).

The idea for these points came from the John MacArthur New Testament Commentary on Matthew.
